Personally, I feel this short novel earned a good eight or more stars for me. It made me laugh, out loud, turn the pages quickly, to see what was coming next, and a sense of romance that is rarely found in a murder mystery. Not to mention, a darn interesting plot.Ms. Vandiver says at the ending...the series is coming to a conclusion. My response is 'Darn it.' I shall indeed try out the SciFi/Mystery series as this author brings interesting facts and blends them with humor, fascinating characters, and a bit of history as well. However, I have grown to love Miss Vivee (might be as my 1st Grandchild bears a similar name,) and smart but respectful, Logan Dickerson. Mac and Bay are a treat to the reader's mind as well.
The tale involves a mysterious death, at the feet of Logan, when in three days the wedding will take place. Since the romance began from volume one, I was quite happy and contented to have Logan and Bay marry...I still am.
I'm not going to be a 'spoiler' but I will say for Cozy romantic murder mysteries, this book crowned the bookshelf for me. Please give this series a read. I do think some more editing would be enjoyed but I soared over the ?'s and just plain thoroughly enjoyed the story! Now to wait for the 5th volume and the Prequel. I will re-read this book.

This one was quite fun. The entire series has been, of course. They seem to get better and better! We finally get to meet Logan's mom and brother. And what a surprise the wedding is!
This story is not at all what you expect. You begin reading about the wedding that is going to take place. I can’t say any more about the wedding as it would spoil it for those who have not read this book yet.
Logan’s mom Justin, brother Micah and dad are in town for the wedding which will occur in three days. So while Logan is out jogging she stumbles across the body of September (aka Seppie) Love a dog walker in the City of Yasamee. Miss Vivee, Mac and Logan work quickly to solve this mystery so the town gazebo which is the location of the wedding will be available.
I have to say I caught myself laughing out loud several times, especially when mom Justin becomes involved with solving the mystery. Micah sometimes I think they wake up so the part is well written.
Great. And apparently I have to add 19 more words, because saying that it was "great" apparently is not enough.
Oh no, not another murder . . .And right before the wedding.
September (aka Seppie) Love, Yasamee's resident dog walker, is found dead right by the town's gazebo. And right before the "Big Day." Logan and Miss Vivvee will have to work quick if they want to solve this "pesky" murder before the nuptials have to be postponed. To help with the investigation, Logan decides to enlist the help of her mother, famed biblical archaeologist, Justin Dickerson.
Filled with plot twists, antics, and clever conversation, author Abby Vandiver does it again. Garden Gazebo Gallivant is another hit, and one that I would recommend.
